Feature photo: Ice Bucket Challenge

The “Ice Bucket Challenge” sweeping the nation arrived on the Gustine High campus last Tuesday. Principal John Petrone accepted the chilly challenge - which is designed to raise awareness and funds for the fight against ALS, often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. In addition to absorbing the ice water dousing, Petrone donated to the ALS Association - and challenged teachers to do the same. Several completed the Ice Bucket Challenge at a Friday rally.
