Gustine’s PeeWee baseball all-stars placed second in an eight-team tournament field at Hilmar recently.  Gustine opened tournament play with a 12-11 win over Ceres Red, and then defeated Riverbank 8-6 before falling to Atwater 10-0. Gustine bounced back to beat Patterson 7-5 in the semi-final game to earn a berth in the championship, but fell to Atwater 12-1. Team members included, front from left, Grant Hazan, Fabian Alvarez, Giovanny Mora, Mike Saraanzin, Jake Campbell and Phillip Saraanzin.
