OHS drama production

Orestimba High Drama Club production of “The Glass Menagerie,” 7:30 p.m. Friday; 2 p.m. and 7:30 Saturday; Hurd Barrington Elementary multi-use room. Tickets are $7 for adults; $5 for students and seniors. Tickets sold at the door only, beginning 45 minutes prior to performance. Seating limited to 60 per show. Mature theme, not recommended for children under 14.

GUSTO benefit night

Benefit night for GUSTO, 5-9 p.m., Gustine Pizza Factory. A percentage of sales to customers presenting GUSTO flyers will be donated to the scholarship organization. Flyers will be available at the door.

Takeout taco dinner

Taco dinner fund-raiser for Westside Niners, 6-8 p.m., L.J. Newman Memorial Building. Dinners are $7 and include three carne asada tacos, rice and beans. Tickets available from participating players and cheerleaders or at the door. Visit westsideniners.net for additional information.

Gustine chamber benefit

Gustine Chamber of Commerce wine, beer and cheese tasting and dinner, 5-9 p.m., Al Goman Community Center. Evening includes an art display and auctions. Tickets are $35 per person. Call 854-6975 for tickets.

Fourth of July fund-raiser

Takeout pasta dinner, 4-7 p.m., Gustine Pentecost Hall. Proceeds support July 4 park activities. Pasta dinner for two, $10. Tickets available at Ford’s Farm Supply, The Body Shop and Pastime. Tickets also available at the door.

Linguica dinner

Takeout linguica sandwich dinner, 4-7 p.m., Hurd Barrington Elementary School. Meal includes sandwich, chips, cookie and a drink. Donation is $7. Proceeds benefit Soares Olympics. Tickets available from Barrington families. No tickets will be available at the door.

Love Romero

“Love Romero Day,” 8-11 a.m., Romero School, Santa Nella. Day includes fun run, variety of volunteer activities (including help creating a school garden), Easter egg hunt for children, food drive, free haircuts for boys and much more. Call 854-6177 for additional information.

Newman Volunteer Fire Department Easter breakfast, 7 a.m. to noon, Newman fire station. Takeouts available. Menu includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee and juice. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 10. Tickets available from any volunteer firefighter or by calling 678-0357.

Newman K-9 crab feed

Newman Police K-9 Association steak and all-you-can-eat crab dinner, 5 p.m., FDES Hall. Evening includes drawings and auction. Donation is $40 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Tickets available at the Newman Police Department or Newman Mini-Mart/Chevron.
