Native Sons of the Golden West
Native Sons of the Golden West, John C. Fremont Parlor 293, will host a dinner meeting Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Gustine.
Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m., with Bingo to follow. Those wishing to play cards or visit are welcome to arrive at 5.
The 2020 lucky calendars will be available at the meeting. A discussion of 2020 events will be part of the meeting.

Orestimba 50-Plus Club
The Orestimba 50-Plus Club met Friday, Nov. 15 at the L.J. Newman Memorial Center. President Loveada Fresquez conducted the meeting.
Veterans in the club led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The minutes and treasurer’s report were read and approved.
Drawings were held for various prizes. Lydia Contreras won the 50/50 prize.
Guests Annette Richey and Veronica Fresquez were welcomed.
Sunshine chair Jade Freitas sent birthday cards to Betty Davis, Alirio Hernandez, Vangie Rose and Nadine Partridge. Happy Birthday was sung by members to those in attendance.
Members enjoyed pumpkin pie and Bingo after the meeting.
The club will hold its Christmas meeting Friday, Dec. 6, at 12:30 p.m. at the L.J. Newman Memorial Center. The meal will be catered by “In Good Taste.” Members are decorating tables in the spirit of Christmas.
The kitchen crew for November and December includes Carla DeOliveira, Joann Martinez, Carrie Sanchez and Galina Tetoff. They are asked to arrive by 11:30 a.m.
VFW, Legion Christmas party
The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Joseph G. Rose Post 7635; American Legion Manuel M. Lopes Post 240 and their respective auxiliaries will host a Christmas party Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Gustine.
Family members and guests are welcome.
Tickets are $20 and must be purchased no later than Dec. 14. Call Will Martin, 854-3636, for more information or to purchase tickets.
American Legion Auxiliary
American Legion, Manuel M. Lopes Post 240, will meet Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at Green Acres Mobile Home Park clubhouse. Guests are welcome.

The Gustine Seniors will hold their annual Christmas party Friday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Al Goman Community Center.
In Good Taste Catering will provide the meal.
Tickets are $10 for members and $18 for guests.
Members attending are asked to bring non-perishable food items which will be donated to the Lions Club food drive.
Tickets for the holiday dinner must be purchased in advance.
