Gustine High School will celebrate its 2019 homecoming next week.
Activities are in store throughout the week, building toward the Friday night football games against Le Grand.
“Once Upon a Homecoming” is the theme of the homecoming festivities.
The Gustine Rotary Club is being honored as grand marshal in recognition of the club’s support for the school and community.
Each class has selected its own theme. The senior class chose “High School Musical,” the juniors picked “Toy Story,” the sophomores went with “Coco,” and the freshmen selected “Monsters Inc.”
Each day has its own dress theme.
Mickey Mouse Monday starts the week, followed by Twin Day Tuesday, a pink dress day Wednesday in support of breast cancer awareness, class theme day Thursday and spirit day Friday.
A homecoming parade and downtown rally will be held Thursday evening, Oct. 17. The parade will begin at 6 p.m.
Royalty will be crowned at halftime of the varsity game Friday.
