The FFA American Farmer Degree is the highest degree an FFA member can receive in the FFA Organization. The American Farmer FFA Degree symbolizes the recipient’s dedication to his or her chapter and the organization.

To be eligible to receive your American Degree FFA members must have earned and invested $10,000 dollars through a Supervised Agricultural Experience program in which they have owned their own business or have been properly hired as an employee. Recipients must have completed 50 hours of community service, been involved in many activities within the FFA, and filled out an application which must be approved.

Each recipient will receive a Gold American Degree key and certificate after being recognized at the National FFA Convention later this Fall.

This degree is an honor and not easy to achieve. Less than 1 percent of all FFA members receive their American FFA Degree.

This year Gustine FFA has four well deserving recipients, Camille Alamo, Gianna Azevedo, Darren Borba, and John Toste. Congratulations on such a big accomplishment and thank you for continuing to make Gustine FFA proud!
