Members of the Newman 4-H Club brought home a number of honors from the 2019 Stanislaus County Fair, which wrapped up its 10-day run Sunday.

Following are the 4-H results, as submitted by club leaders.

Registered dairy

Anneke Dyt placed first in true novice registered dairy showmanship. She showed a seventh place summer yearling.

Replacement heifer

Ellie Dyt exhibited and sold a Holstein replacement heifer.

Grade dairy

Newman 4-H was second as a club group and second in the clean barn judging.

Charlize Lemus placed second in true novice showmanship and showed a fifth-place winter calf.

Justin Lopes was third in true novice showmanship and showed a fourth-place winter calf.

Logan Lemus placed fourth in intermediate showmanship. He showed a fifth-place spring yearling and and placed 11th with a winter calf.

Isabella Berbereia was seventh in intermediate showmanship and placed 10th with a winter calf.

Daniel Gomes Jr. took fourth in advanced showmanship. He showed a ninth-place winter calf.

David Drumonde was fifth in advanced showmanship. He placed third with a spring calf, and was seventh with a spring yearling.

Rabbits

Cailin Casey earned a host of honors to be named outstanding rabbit exhibitor. She was awarded first-place for an educational display and placed third in master showmanship. She was first in advanced rabbit showmanship.

Casey earned a first place, best of variety and best of breed with a chocolate English spot senior buck; first, best of variety and best opposite of breed with a gold English spot senior doe; a first, best of variety and best of breed with a black Havana senior doe; a first, best opposite of variety and best opposite of breed with a black Havana senior buck; a first and best of variety with a chocolate Havana senior buck; a first and best opposite of variety with a chocolate Havana senior doe; a first and best of breed with a Californian senior doe; a first and best opposite of breed with a Californian senior buck; a first with a golden Palomino intermediate doe; a first, a second, best of variety and best of breed with golden Palomino junior does; a first, best opposite of variety and best opposite of breed with a golden Palomino intermediate buck; a first and a second with a Golden Palomino junior buck; a first, second and best of variety with lynx Palomino senior does; a first and a second with lynx Palomino junior does; a first with a lynx Palomino senior buck; a first and best opposite of variety with a lynx Palomino intermediate buck; and a first with a lynx Palomino junior buck.

Sophia Hayes placed first, best of variety, best of breed with a black Dutch senior doe; first and best opposite of variety with a black Dutch senior buck; second and fifth with mini-lop broken junior bucks; third and fourth with mini-lop broken junior does; third and fifth with mini-lop solid senior bucks; third and fifth with mini-lop solid junior bucks; and third and fourth with mini-lop solid junior does. She was fourth in intermediate rabbit showmanship.

Isabell Hayes showed a second-place black Polish senior doe; took first, best of variety black and best opposite of breed with a black Himalayan senior buck; earned a first, a second and best of variety blue with blue Himalayan senior does; and placed second with a Californian intermediate buck. She was second in intermediate rabbit showmanship.

Ava Gutierrez earned a first-place and best of breed with a dwarf Hotot senior buck.

Emily Drumonde, Hunter Barcellos, Marlyana Barcellos and Andres Gutierrez were primary showmanship exhibitors.
