Photo: Busy month for 4-H

Newman 4-H Club members have been busy with a number of leadership and citizenship projects during the holiday season. At top, from left, are Olivia Casey, who collected items for the Agape Food Pantry (she is pictured with Agape volunteer Victor Perry); Isabella Berbereia, who collected toiletries for those in need and delivered them to the Good Samaritans in Modesto; and Cailin Casey, who collected blankets that were delivered to the Garden City Health Care Center. At bottom, from left, are Isabell Hayes, who collected clothing, coats and blankets for the Salvation Army shelter; Ava Gutierrez, who organized the collection of boxes for Operation Christmas Child; and Daniel Gomes Jr., who collected books as a Christmas gift from the 4-H’ers to the young son of Newman Police Cpl.
