Orestimba High School and Yolo Middle School resumed in-person instruction last Tuesday, welcoming students back to the classroom for the first time in more than a year. About 50 percent of students returned for in-person instruction, with the remainder staying entirely on distance learning. Those opting to return for classroom instruction are divided into two groups, with each attending on campus two days a week and studying remotely on all other days. A new camera technology being used districtwide allows students at home to follow and participate in the instruction being delivered in the classroom. Above, OHS staff member Jeremy Panelli conducts a temperature check on arriving student Mariana Moran.
