Vandalism

Newman police said a vandalism was reported Dec. 14 at Newman City Tow. An employee advised that a fence surrounding the yard was damaged. It was unknown if anything was taken from impounded vehicles, police reported. The damage to the fence was estimated at $200.

Arrests

The following were among arrests reported by Newman police from Dec. 14-20. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.

Victor M. Yepez, 33, of Modesto, was arrested Dec. 17 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a license suspended for DUI.

Ceasar T. Bueno, 32, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 18 on misdemeanor charges of delaying/obstructing a police officer, being drunk in public and child endangerment.

Michael K. Harnack, 30, of Patterson, was arrested Dec. 19 on a felony warrant.

Yajaira L. Magana, 22, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 19 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Activity report

Newman police received 96 calls for service, reported 27 officer-initiated incidents, handled 11 cases, made four arrests, issued three traffic citations and wrote two parking tickets from Dec. 14-20, according to the department’s activity report.

GUSTINE POLICE

Arrest report

The following were among arrests reported by Gustine police from Dec. 15-20. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.

Lillian Cain, 22, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 15 on a misdemeanor charge of battery on a person.

Devin E. Bernal, 24, of Los Banos, was arrested Dec. 19 on misdemeanor charges of DUI and driving on a license suspended for DUI.

A 35-year-old Gustine female was arrested Dec. 20 on a felony domestic violence charge.

Activity report

Gustine police received 46 calls for service, reported 79 officer-initiated incidents, handled nine cases, made four arrests, wrote 10 traffic citations and issued one parking ticket from Dec. 15-20, according to the department’s activity report.
