The Gustine Unified School District will provide free meals to children under 18 years of age during the closure of local campuses due to the COVID-19 virus.

Today and Friday, breakfast and lunch will be provided together for curbside pickup at Gustine Elementary, Gustine High and Romero Elementary from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided together for curbside pickup from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. weekdays March 23 through April 10 at Gustine Elementary, Gustine High, Pioneer Park, Henry Miller Park, Borrelli Park, Santa Nella (Village Market parking lot) and Santa Nella (Las Flores Drive). Look for the yellow school bus at the park and Gustine locations.

Meals are for pick-up only and are not to be consumed on site. Meals will be provided for each child present at the time of pick-up.

Newman-Crows Landing Unified

Newman-Crows Landing Unified School District officials announced a food service schedule which is in effect from March 19 to April 9.

The district will be providing free breakfast and lunch to children 1-18.

Meals will be distributed on a drive-through basis at Hunt, Von Renner, Hurd Barrington, Yolo and Orestimba from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays. One meal will be distributed for each child present, either in a vehicle or as part of a walking family. No meals may be consumed on site.

A mobile food truck will be distributing meals daily at Fisherman’s Bend (10-10:30 a.m.), Catfish Camp (10:45-11:15 a.m.), Bonita School (11:30 a.m. to noon) and Diablo Grande (12:30-1 p.m.).

Each day’s distribution will include a lunch as well as a breakfast for the following day.
