Six Gustine FFA members exhibited livestock at the California State Fair in July.
Gannon Silva placed second and fourth in the market sheep show and showed the reserve champion Dorset lamb.
Genna Andrade placed first and second with her market hogs in the swine show, and was sixth overall in FFA swine showmanship.
Madison Woods showed multiple market class winners and was fifth in FFA sheep showmanship.
Aubrie Hazan placed seventh with her breeding doe in the wether dam show (goats). She also participated in the sheep show.
Sheep exhibitor Patrick Broderick was second in his class with a registered Southdown ewe and was third overall in the Southdown champion drive. He also was a goat exhibitor at the State Fair.
Jadin Silva was a State Fair sheep exhibitor.
“It was a great experience getting to show with other FFA members from around the state,” said Gannon Silva. “It was especially an honor winning reserve champion market Dorset. I can’t wait for next year.”
