Student Spotlight

Mateo Gallichio, Senior, Gustine High School

Mateo is involved in football and basketball and with his Gustine High club community. He is the president of the Athletic club and a public figure for the other students.

“It was definitely a maturing experience, and this school has prepared me for the next steps in my life to come,” Mateo said of his years at Gustine High.

As much as he enjoys sports, he loves the subject English because it allows him to express himself in words. He also enjoys a good book.

After high school Mateo hopes to continue his football career at the collegiate level, while either attending a trade school or a junior college and pursuing some type of trade school major.
