To the editor:

In order to uphold the dignity and honor of the Citizens for the Fourth Committee and the Miss Gustine pageants, we are correcting a error that was discovered following the Junior Miss Gustine Pageant.  The corrected tabulations resulted in a tie for the title of first runner-up.

The final results of the Junior Miss Gustine Contest were as follows:

Junior Miss Gustine: Ciarra McCormick

First runners-up (listed alphabetically): Marina Aleman and Sarah Bettencourt

Second runner-up: Stormi Flores

We apologize for this misunderstanding and believe this to be the fairest way to resolve the situation.
