To the editor:

This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home and this little piggy went to Gustine High School and wound up a ham bone!

Come on, you irresponsible students, you have damaged a very old school. What were you thinking? How would you feel if someone did to your car what you did to the school?

Would you like to sit down on a seat that had some gooey syrup dumped on it? Your car is your pride and joy.....even if your parents paid for it.

It sounds like a situation where someone planned this ahead of time with the number of students reported.

I feel the ring leader or leaders should be punished financially and have to clean up their mess. Let’s not forget the followers, too. Community service time is a farce, so let’s disregard it.

All the people involved should have to clean up their mess and pay for the time the police had to spend dealing with this.

Anyone who supervises the cleanup should be compensated by the students, not their parents.

The guilty students, if seniors, should not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Perhaps good fences should be installed on campus, along with motion-sensor lights and cameras.

Howard Collins, Gustine
