Cops outnumber cars at Newman Fun Run |

To the editor:
This year at the Newman Fun Run it looked as if we had an overkill of lawmen.
There were more police walking the streets than there were cars parked for the event.
Is our crime rate that high to show the force of two law enforcement departments?
Also, the city could save some money by removing the code enforcement officer. He is driving around town on $4-a-gallon gasoline, and what in the world is he enforcing?
