An annual event that started in 2018 at Gustine High School, Senior Signing Day is when all the seniors at GHS come together and represent their plans for after graduation. Most students choose to join the workforce, community college, university, trade school, tech school, or the military.
This year GHS has over 106 students committed to the next step. The counselors, Ashley Ramirez and Daisy Zagazeta were the chairmen of this event. Ms. Ramirez shared “We would like to acknowledge the dedication and commitment students have made to their future. This is truly the next step in their journey and we are happy to be able to highlight this time in their lives. We are proud of them all! Go Reds!”
Mrs. Zagazeta would like to add, “We are proud of our students who committed to various universities throughout the United States and even into other countries. Their dedication in school has proven to be fruitful by providing them with a variety of opportunities. Other students committed to joining the workforce and we are equally as proud of them. Congrats class of 2023! Gustine High School is making a difference!”

This choice has me beyond excited because it’s a new step to get used to, even with the struggles I know I can do it,” Torres said. “I’d like to acknowledge my past coaches, friends, and family for pushing me to get here.
