Vandalism incidents

Newman police said two vandalism incidents were recently reported.

The rear window of a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of M Street was broken in an incident reported Dec. 13. No damage estimate was reported.

A window of a home in the 1600 block of Sandy Creek was reportedly broken by a thrown object from the front yard during a dispute, police said. The damage was estimated at $150. The incident was reported Dec. 14.

Arrest report

The following were among arrests reported by Newman police from Dec. 9-15. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which an individual was booked.

Ryan Lopes, 31, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 9 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Jose S. Luquin, 59, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 9 on a misdemeanor DUI charge.

Daniel M. Cross, 30, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 10 on felony charges of making threats with the intent to terrorize and flash incarceration (for probation violation).

A 15-year-old Crows Landing male was arrested Dec. 10 on a misdemeanor charge of invading privacy in a bathroom.

Juan Maciel Mendoza, 47, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 11 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Fermin M. Garcia Noguez, 23, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 12 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Sergio Madrigal, 31, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 12 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Kenneth R. Ramos, 35, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 13 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Activity report

Newman police received 94 calls for service, reported 83 officer-initiated incidents, handled 21 cases, made 10 arrests and wrote 15 traffic tickets from Dec. 9-15, according to the department’s activity report.

GUSTINE POLICE

Road rage incident

Gustine police said a 17-year-old juvenile was arrested on felony assault charges following a Dec. 12 road rage incident.

Officers responding to the 1000 block of Laurel Avenue at 5:30 p.m. on the report of a physical altercation arrived to find a group of citizens attending to a 27-year-old Gustine man. The victim told police he had been attacked by another male after a brief road rage incident that started on westbound South Avenue before concluding on Laurel.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and later told police that he had suffered a broken nose and required five stitches to his mouth, according to a GPD Facebook post.

Police said the juvenile suspect, a Gustine male, was arrested on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm.

Tiana G. Macial, 24, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 10 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Efrain M. Alvarez, 40, of Salinas, was arrested Dec. 10 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Rafael Tovar, 28, of Santa Nella, was arrested Dec. 11 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Stephanie M. Pinhiero, 27, of Delhi was arrested Dec. 11 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Francisco J. Valencia-Lopez, 39, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 12 on a misdemeanor charge of violating a court order.

David J. Snyder Jr., 34, of McFarland, was arrested Dec. 13 on a felony warrant.

Victoria C. White, 43, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 14 on misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license.

Christopher L. Uriberamos, 28, of Patterson, was arrested Dec. 14 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Julio C. Villarreal, 46, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 14 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a license suspended for DUI.

Juan C. Lopez, 40, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 15 on misdemeanor charges of driving without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 17-year-old male Gustine juvenile was arrested Dec. 15 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Activity report

Gustine police received 38 calls for service, reported 107 officer-initiated incidents, handled 19 cases, made 14 arrests, wrote nine traffic tickets and issued six parking citations from Dec. 10-15, according to the department’s activity report.
