Burglary

Newman police said multiple items were reported stolen Dec. 20 from a home in the 1300 block of P Street. A chandelier, light switches, light fixture and mirror were taken. The loss was estimated at $775.

Vandalism

Newman police said that a vehicle parked in the 1900 block of T Street was reported vandalized twice in as many days last week. In the first incident, reported Dec. 18, the front tires of the vehicle were slashed. In the second, a bottle was thrown at a vehicle window, causing several marks. No damage estimate was available.

Arrests

The following were among arrests reported by Newman police from Dec. 16-22. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.

David J. Snyder Jr., 35, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 17 on a felony warrant out of Stanislaus County Superior Court.

Emmanuel S. Dunerway, 28, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 18 on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Anthony S. Davis, 55, of Modesto, was arrested Dec. 18 on misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stephanie A. Foss, 49, of Citrus Heights, was arrested Dec. 21 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a license suspended for DUI.

Monica M. Rosette Silva, 27, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 21 on a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Raven M. Reed, 27, of Antioch, was arrested Dec. 22 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Activity report

Newman police received 91 calls for service, reported 74 officer-initiated incidents, handled 24 cases, made 11 arrests, issued eight traffic tickets from Dec. 16-22, according to the department’s activity report.

GUSTINE POLICE

Vehicle thefts

Gustine police said two vehicle thefts were recently reported.

A 2000 Honda Civic was reported stolen Dec. 19 from a Via Jodi address.

A 1998 Honda Civic was reported stolen Dec. 20 from the 300 block of Wallis.

Vehicle burglary

Police said a 10-inch sub-woofer valued at $400 was reported stolen Dec. 20 from a vehicle in the 500 block of Meredith Avenue.

Arrests

The following were among arrests reported by Gustine police from Dec. 16-22. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.

Jose Navarro Moreno, 41, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 16 on a misdemeanor charge of illegally discharging waste.

Juan C. Madrigal, 40, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 20 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Jose Navarro Moreno, 41, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 21 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Dulce Morfin, 25, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 22 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Activity report

Gustine police received 48 calls for service, reported 141 officer-initiated incidents, handled 19 cases, made eight arrests, wrote five traffic citations and issued 47 parking tickets from Dec. 16-22, according to the department’s activity report.
