NEWMAN POLICE

Activity Report 

The Newman Police Department received 78 calls for service and reported 68 officer initiated calls for a total of 146 incidents between Sept. 20 to Sept. 26. There were 22 cases and 15 arrests made. The department issued 18 traffic citations, 11 parking citations and five criminal citations. Two vehicles were towed. 

Theft 

A construction area in the 1400 block of N Street was unintentionally left unlocked on Sept. 24. At some point a thief or thieves came and took two Dewalt impact drills, a Dewalt grinder, and all the batteries. The estimated loss was $2,000. No suspect information was reported. 

Arrests 

Jose Alberto Esparza, 41, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 20 for a warrant. 

Randy Robert Heldstab, 38, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 21 for illegal commercial dumping. 

Omar Chavez, 42, of Crows Landing was arrested on Sept. 22 for public nuisance. 

Karina Villanueva Madrigal, 21, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 22 for being an unlicensed driver. 

Darren Glassman, 34, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 23 for driving on a suspended license. 

Victoria Carline White, 45, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 23 for driving on a suspended license and for a warrant. 

An unnamed male, 54, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 24 for domestic battery. 

Yanet Lira, 46, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 24 for being an unlicensed driver. 

Alfredo Jose Casanova, 45, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 24 for being an unlicensed driver. 

Yesenia Duran Islas, 35, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 25 for a warrant. 

Alyssa Pena, 24, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 26 for a warrant. 

Tasha Marie Whitmire, 35, of Modesto was arrested on Sept. 26 for a warrant. 

Billy Andrew Cheatam Jr., 51, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 26 for driving on a suspended license for DUI. 

Frittata Mikan, 28, of Lodi was arrested on Sept. 26 for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a warrant. 

Rosemary Hernandez, 32, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 26 for warrants.

Activity Report 

The Gustine Police Department received 72 calls for service and reported 67 officer initiated calls, for a total of 139 incidents between Sept. 20 and Sept. 26. There were 15 cases and five arrests. The department issued 10 traffic citations, five parking citations and had two vehicles towed. 

Arrests 

Juan Gallegos Madrigal, 49, of Gustine was arrested on Sept. 20 for battery and vandalism. 

Guadalupe Loeralara, 38, of Gustine was arrested on Sept. 24 for driving without a license and a vehicle code infraction. 

Armando Guzman Frias, 18, of Gustine was arrested on Sept. 24 for vehicle code infractions. 

Mario Alberto Hernandez Rabanalez, 35, of Lamaont was arrested on Sept. 25 for driving without a license. 

Brittany Izel Valle, 18, of Santa Nella was arrested on Sept. 26 for driving without a license.
