Vandalism cases

Newman police said two vehicle vandalism cases were reported last week.

The driver side window of a vehicle in the 900 block of Tivoli Drive was broken in an incident reported Oct. 5. The damage was estimated at $300.

The rear window of a vehicle in the 1100 block of M Street was broken in an incident reported Oct. 8. The damage was estimated at $200.

Larceny

Police said two license plates were reported stolen Oct. 10 off a vehicle in the 1100 block of Duckblind Circle. The plates were valued at $44.

Arrest report

The following are among arrests reported by Newman police from Oct. 5-11. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.

Jose H. Mendoza, 41, of Newman, was arrested Oct. 5 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a license suspended for DUI.

A 17-year-old Newman female was arrested Oct. 5 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

William E. McCann, 34, of Tracy, was arrested Oct. 5 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Genaro Duran Espinoza, 50, of Gustine, was arrested Oct. 6 on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.

A 47-year-old Newman male was arrested Oct. 6 on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.

Cindy L. Barrera, 56, of Newman, was arrested Oct. 6 on a felony warrant out of Fresno County.

Jose A. Canales, 37, of Newman, was arrested Oct. 7 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Omar Jimenez, 26, of Hollister, was arrested Oct. 7 on misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

David A. Gutierrez, 24, of Newman, was arrested Oct. 7 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Ryan W. Lopes, 31, of Newman, was arrested Oct. 8 on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing by damaging/destroying fence.

Pablo Gomez, 47, of Newman, was arrested Oct. 8 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a license suspended for DUI.

Omar Jimenez, 26, of Hollister, was arrested Oct. 9 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Alejandro Chavez, 28, of Patterson, was arrested Oct. 9 on misdemeanor charges of fighting in a public place and public intoxication.

Ceasar T. Bueno, 31, of Gustine, was arrested Oct. 9 on misdemeanor charges of public intoxication and obstructing a police officer.

Emmanuel S. Dunerway, 29, of Newman, was arrested Oct. 10 on misdemeanor charges of exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm, manufacture of a billy club and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 16-year-old Newman male was arrested Oct. 11 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Activity report

Newman police received 84 calls for service, reported 64 officer-initiated incidents, handled 28 cases, made 19 arrests, issued 10 traffic citations and wrote two parking tickets from Oct. 5-11, according to the department’s activity report.

GUSTINE POLICE

Burglary cases

Gustine police said two burglaries were reported Oct. 12.

Authorities said clothing valued at $1,280 was reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Fifth Street.

A hover board and two telescopes were reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Sixth Street, police said. The items were valued at $484.

Stolen vehicle

Police said a 1985 Ford E-250, with an air compressor in the back, was reported stolen Oct. 10 from the 400 block of Fifth Street. According to police reports, the reporting party said the vehicle was stolen months ago. The vehicle has not been recovered.

Arrests

The following were among arrests reported by Gustine police from Oct. 6-12. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.

Christopher W. Ince Jr., 33, of Gustine, was arrested Oct. 7 on a felony charge of committing a lewd or lascivious act with a child under the age of 14.

A 20-year-old Santa Cruz female was arrested Oct. 11 on charges that included misdemeanor domestic battery.

A 23-year-old Atwater male was arrested Oct. 11 on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.

William R. Poulos IV, 45, of Modesto, was arrested Oct. 11 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Raul A. Camacho, 36, of Fresno, was arrested Oct. 11 on a felony charge of possession of a narcotic controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of driving on a license suspended for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Activity report

Gustine police received 69 calls for service, reported 74 officer-initiated incidents, handled 10 cases, made 10 arrests, wrote eight traffic citations and issued one parking ticket from Oct. 6-12, according to the department’s activity report.
