Gustine police said a bicycle valued at $600 was reported stolen Oct. 24 from the 100 block of Fourth Street.
Gustine police said minor injuries were reported to the driver and a passenger in an Oct. 28 accident in which a 2006 Honda Accord traveling eastbound on South Avenue left the roadway, struck a tractor parked at Ford’s Farm Supply and continued on to strike a vehicle parked on Linden Avenue.
Neither the driver or the passenger were transported for treatment, police said.
The following were among arrests reported by Gustine police from Oct. 23-30. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.
Roy Renteria, 34, of Gustine, was arrested Oct. 23 on a felony charge of obstructing/resisting an officer and a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.
Reyes P. Gonzalez, 42, of Newman, was arrested Oct. 27 on misdemeanor charges of DUI and driving without a license.
Gustine police received 46 calls for service, reported 114 officer-initiated incidents (including 17 traffic stops), took 15 reports, made seven arrests, wrote 10 traffic tickets and issued one parking citation from Oct. 23-30, according to the department’s activity report.
Weekly arrest and incident reports are provided by the Newman and Gustine police departments. Charges may have been dropped as of press time. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty.
