Vandalism

Newman police said four tires were slashed on a vehicle in the 600 block of Real Avenue in an incident reported Dec. 17. The damage was estimated at $800.

Larceny

Police said four flower pots and a wooden cabinet were reported stolen Dec. 19 from the 1100 block of Duck Blind Circle. The loss was estimated at $150.

Arrests

The following arrests were reported by Newman police from Dec. 17-19. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.

Russell T. Tanner, 28, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 18 on a felony bench warrant out of Stanislaus County Superior Court.

Favian Monarrez, 20, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 18 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Andrew R. Price, 27, of Modesto, was arrested Dec. 18 on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and felony charge of violating probation.

Anthony R. Price, 47, of Modesto, was arrested Dec. 18 on a misdemeanor drug possession charge.

Rosalba Torres, 30, of Newman, was arrested Dec. 18 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a license suspended for DUI.

Activity report

Newman police received 37 calls for service, reported 27 officer-initiated incidents, handled 10 cases, made five arrests and issued five traffic citations from Dec. 17-19, according to the department’s activity report.

GUSTINE POLICE

Arrests

Gustine police reported the following two arrests from Dec. 18-21. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked into jail.

Sergio Scott, 30, of Gustine, was arrested Dec. 18 on a felony warrant.

Daniel Cisnerosvieyra, 31, of Denair, was arrested Dec. 19 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Activity report

Gustine police received 18 calls for service, reported 58 officer-initiated incidents (including seven traffic stops), took five reports and made two arrests from Dec. 18-21, according to the department’s activity report.
