Attempted break-in

Newman police said an attempted break-in of a garage in the 1000 block of Grackle Court was reported Nov. 14. A black folding knife was found outside the garage, with damage to the wood trim.

Arrests

The following were among arrests reported by Newman police from Nov. 12-18. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.

Racheal L. Murray, 34, of Newman, was arrested Nov. 12 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Miguel Gallardo, 18, of Patterson, was arrested Nov. 12 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

A 17-year-old Los Banos male was arrested Nov. 13 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

A 31-year-old Newman male was arrested Nov. 14 on felony charges related to domestic violence.

Racheal L. Murray, 34, of Newman, was arrested Nov. 14 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

Eric Gonzalez, 39, of Patterson, was arrested Nov. 14 for driving without a license. The charge is a misdemeanor.

William E. Bosshard Jr., 28, of Newman, was arrested Nov. 15 on misdemeanor charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance, driving while under the influence of a controlled substance and driving on a license suspended for DUI, as well as a felony charge of violating probation.

Annette M. Garcia, 38, of Turlock, was arrested Nov. 15 on a misdemeanor drug possession charge.

A 14-year-old Newman male was arrested Nov. 16 for driving without a license. The charge is a misdemeanor.

Yesenia D. Islas, 32, of Newman, was arrested Nov. 16 on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing an officer and a felony warrant out of Stanislaus County Superior Court.

Ottis M. Carmean, 38, of Newman, was arrested Nov. 17 on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.

Rigoberto Castillas Facio, 41, of Gustine, was arrested Nov. 18 for driving without a license. The charge is a misdemeanor.

Ramon Aguilar Jr., 36, of Newman, was arrested Nov. 18 for driving on a suspended or revoked license, a misdemeanor.

Activity report

Newman police received 103 calls for service, reported 78 officer-initiated incidents, handled 24 cases, made 17 arrests, issued 19 traffic citations and wrote five parking tickets from Nov. 12-18, according to the department’s activity report.

GUSTINE POLICE


Vehicle theft

Gustine police said a 1994 Ford pickup was reported stolen Nov. 14 from the 200 block of Second Street. The vehicle was subsequently located by the owner in the 300 block of Fifth Street.

Arrests

The following were among arrests reported by Gustine police from Nov. 14-19. The arrest report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.

Deanna Riggs, 44, of Patterson, was arrested Nov. 15 on a misdemeanor charge of willful cruelty to a child.

Armando Sepulvada, 23, of Gustine, was arrested Nov. 18 on a misdemeanor charge of disobeying a court order.

Activity report

Gustine police received 47 calls for service, reported 72 officer-initiated incidents (including seven traffic stops), took 12 reports, made three arrests and issued two traffic citations from Nov. 13-19, according to the department’s activity report.
