Newman police said a bicycle valued at $40 was reported stolen May 23 from Yolo Middle School.
Newman police said a 2002 Kia reported stolen to Modesto CHP on May 13 was recovered May 20 in the 1100 block of Mariposa.
The following were among arrests reported by Newman police from May 20-26. The police report includes incidents in which an individual was released on citation as well as cases in which a suspect was booked.
Rafael J. Garcia Jr., 33, of Newman, was arrested May 20 for driving on a suspended or revoked license. The charge is a misdemeanor.
Herbert Castro Herrera Sr., 52, of Newman, was arrested May 21 on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.
Francisco Rodriguez Jara, 50, of Newman, was arrested May 21 on a misdemeanor drug possession charge.
Julio C. Villarreal, 45, of Newman, was arrested May 26 on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a license suspended for DUI.
Newman police received 114 calls for service, reported 29 officer-initiated incidents, handled 18 cases, made five arrests, wrote six traffic tickets and issued one parking ticket from May 20-26, according to the department’s activity report.
Gustine police said a 2007 Mercedes Benz was reported stolen May 21 from the 1500 block of Via Del Pettoruto. The vehicle had not been recovered as of Tuesday morning, police said.
Police said a vehicle break-in was reported May 21 on Sullivan near Linden. A passer-by reported seeing the break-in in progress. Officers arrived to find the vehicle with a shattered window. No damage estimate was listed.
Police said a front window of a home in the 1500 block of Verde was damaged with a BB gun in an incident reported May 26. The damage was estimated at $500.

Enrique Plascencia Jr., 27, of Gustine, was arrested May 23 on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 37-year-old Gustine female was arrested May 24 on a misdemeanor charge related to domestic violence.
A 17-year-old Gustine male was arrested May 27 on a vandalism charge.
Gustine police received 68 calls for service, reported 139 officer-initiated incidents, handled 23 cases, made nine arrests and issued six traffic citations from May 21-27, according to the department’s activity report.
