This is an open letter to anyone who had anything to do with the Celebration of Life for David A. Alvernaz that was held on his 73rd birthday, February 4.
A tremendous thank you for helping to celebrate his life at Hills Ferry Cemetery and the reception at Good Times Restaurant in Newman. David A. would have been very pleased by the service for him, and all those family members and friends who took the time to brave the cold weather to come and honor him.
Special thanks to Father Trindade, the Veteran’s Honor Guard, Good Times, cousin Margee Pfitzer and last but not least, to David A. for giving us all one last opportunity to say our goodbyes.
