David Isola

David Paul Isola of Gustine passed away Tuesday, March 16, at his residence.

He was 82.

Mr. Isola was born in Gustine and was a resident of Gustine for 53 years.

He was an agricultural inspector for Merced County for 30 years.

Mr. Isola was a parishioner at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine. He was a long-time member of the Gustine Lions Club, and also was a member of the Native Sons, Italian Catholic Federation and Gustine Historical Society.

Mr. Isola is survived by his wife, Dora Isola of Gustine; a son, Paul Isola (Jane) of Lincoln; and his grandchildren Alexander, Aiden and Avery.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Domoto and Joseph Domoto; a sister, Geraldine Beeson; and a nephew, Gary Beeson.

Visitation will be held from 8-10 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles. A rosary/mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Hills Ferry Cemetery, Newman.
