Cheryl Ann Borbon, 64, of Merced, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, at her residence.
Mrs. Borbon was born in Oklahoma. She lived in Gustine for many years before moving to Merced a year ago.
She worked as a certified nursing assistant for 25 years.
She enjoyed doing crafts, and was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Borbon loved her animals.
She is survived by two daughters, LaVonna Wagner and Stephanie Ellis, both of Texas; two brothers, Rick Areias of Newman and Faron Knowles of Keyes; six sisters, Deborah Osborn, Pamela Gibbs, Shanee Bento, Jodi Aguilar, Rebecca Knowles and Teresa Reis, all of Gustine; her grandchildren, Stevenray Ellis, Robert Wagner, Chris Lester and Randy Lester; and a great-granddaughter, Katherine Ellis.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 28) at Hillview Funeral Chapel, Gustine.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Hills Ferry Cemetery.
