Richard Phillip Frontella, 85, of Gustine passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Brandel Manor in Turlock.

Mr. Frontella was born in Volta and was a lifelong resident of the West Side.

He was a truck driver for 30 years.

Mr. Frontella was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.

He also belonged to Los Banos Elks Lodge No. 2510, Odd Fellows of Los Banos and Golden Agers of Los Banos.

He enjoyed camping, traveling, RVing and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Frontella is survived by his wife, Delores “Dee” Frontella of Gustine; two sons, David Frontella (Anne) of Oregon and Brian Frontella (Estella) of Gustine; two sisters, Marlene Spadafore and Darlene Dias, both of Santa Clara; and a grandchild, Cody Frontella.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Zoey Frontella.

A visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. followed by a rosary and mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine.

Interment will follow in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella.

Remembrances may be directed to a favorite charity.
