To the editor:

As former mayor of Gustine, these are my views for the upcoming local election on Nov. 6.

Pat Nagy has the years of service and experience to serve as mayor of Gustine. He now sits as the mayor pro tem and is part of the every day issues that pertain to the city of Gustine. He is very qualified for the mayor position.

In Rich Ford, Lynn Schultz and Derek Alexander, there are three great City Council candidates to choose from. All are very qualified. The voters of Gustine will have a tough choice to pick two of the three.

Gary Silva,  GUSD Board Zone 1, is a newcomer to politics, but shows great character and leadership skills and will make a great board member.  Kevin Bloom, Board Zone 5, is also new to politics and also shows the same great qualities as Mr. Silva and will make a great board member.

In the Santa Nella County Water District Paul Villarreal, Michael Fairbanks and Wayne Tallman are three great candidates.

In the West Side Community Healthcare Zone 4,  I am the only candidate who pulled papers to run, and I look forward to being sworn in at the November meeting and bringing my leadership skills to getting West Side Community Ambulance back on track to serve the Gustine-Newman area.

Please join me in electing the right candidates Nov. 6.

Dennis Brazil, Gustine
