Orestimba capped a busy week with a win over rival Gustine Thursday.

The Lady Warriors shook off a first-game setback to prevail 26-28, 25-7, 25-12, 25-14 over Gustine.

Orestimba improved to 5-1 in league play.

Lanai Torres and Sarah Millan provided a solid one-two hitting attack for Orestimba. Each put down 15 kills, and Millan had two blocks for good measure.

Ellie Dyt was a presence in the Orestimba attack as well, contributing nine kills.

Torres was a defensive leader, coming up with 10 digs in the win. Ellie Dyt was credited with seven, while Alyssa Bonilla had five.

Alyssa Bonilla and Doreen Dyt each had four service aces, while Jazmin Rodriguez, Torres and Reagan Marroquin were each on the stat sheet with three aces.

Setter Doreen Dyt had 38 assists on the night.

OHS 3, Waterford 0

Orestimba swept Waterford 25-13, 25-19, 25-16 Tuesday evening in league action.

Millan had nine kills, while Torres put down seven and Ellie Dyt recorded six.

Ellie Dyt came up with nine digs, while Bonilla was credited with eight.

Bonilla had six aces against the Wildcats.

Rodriguez and Millan each recorded a block, and Doreen Dyt had 23 assists.

Orestimba opened the week with a 25-17, 25-20, 25-21 win over Big Valley Christian.

Torres had 13 kills and Millan finished with nine.

Bonilla led the defense with a dozen digs, while Ellie Dyt and Torres each came up with 10.
