Offense was in short supply for the baseball Reds last week against Southern League co-leader Ripon Christian.
The Knights held Gustine to three runs over the course of two games to deal the Reds a costly sweep.
Gustine fell to 5-7 in league play.
The Reds dropped an 8-1 decision to Ripon Christian Friday to close out the week.
A five-run second by the Knights put Gustine in a hole early. Four of those runs came on one swing of the bat, as an RC grand slam turned a 1-0 game into a 5-0 contest.
The Reds had an opportunity to battle back in their half of the frame after base hits by Nathan Nunes and Giovanni Quezada helped the home team load the bases with just one out, but Gustine was unable to capitalize.
The Reds scored their lone run in the seventh, when Gabriel Silveira doubled and scored on a Quezada base hit.
Quezada had three of Gustine’s six hits on the afternoon.

Gustine was leading 2-0 midway through the third last Wednesday.
Then everything went south for the Reds.
Ripon Christian, aided by multiple Gustine errors, plated nine runs before the Reds were able to get off the field in the bottom of the third.
The game had started on a far more promising note.
Devin Bettencourt drew a walk to lead off the first and eventually scored on a grounder to put Gustine up 1-0.
David Gonzalez singled and scored in the third as the Reds extended their lead to 2-0.
The Reds were held to three hits on the day. In addition to the Gonzalez single, Thomas Gomes and Quezada each hit safely for the Reds.
Gustine wrapped up its season earlier this week with a home-and-home series against Waterford.
