The calls included seven for Emergency Medical Services, one potential structure fire, one working structure fire, two vehicle collisions, two public assists, two fire alarms, three vegetation fires and two smoke check calls.
On June 23, at 8:36 a.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a potential structure fire in the 500 block of Rodeo Grounds Way. Upon arrival, the fire crews found a single-story residence with one occupant standing outside. The occupant informed fire crews that the oven was on fire and that it had been extinguished with a fire extinguisher. Fire crews investigated and secured the scene. There were no reports of injury, and the damages are estimated at $2,000.
On June 23, at 9:56 a.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a smoke check near Hills Ferry Road and Edinburgh Way. Upon arrival, the fire crews quickly extinguished a wind-driven vegetation fire of approximately 1.5 acres in size. There were no reported injuries or damage estimates, and the cause was an agricultural burn that extended to vegetation.
On June 25, at 10:14 a.m., the Newman Station was dispatched to a vehicle collision near River Road and LB Crow Road. Upon arrival, the fire crews found a single-vehicle rollover accident with one occupant self-extricated. The occupant sustained minor injuries, and the estimated damage was $4,160. The fire crews secured the vehicle, directed traffic, and obtained incident information. The cause of the accident is under investigation by CHP.

The Gustine Fire Department responded to 19 calls for service from June 20 to June 27. The calls included 10 for Emergency Medical Services, four vegetation fires, one motor vehicle collision and four public assists.
