Brenda Kay (Mayfield) Berry, 78, passed away on November 24, 2024, at her home in Kingman, AZ. 

Brenda was born on July 13, 1946 in Fort Smith, AK, to Porter and Bonnie Mayfield. The family lived in Coal Hill, AK, until the spring of 1952, when the family moved to California and settled in the Crows Landing area. She went to Bonita Elementary School and Orestimba High School. Then married the love of her life, William M. (Sonny) Berry. They were married for 42 years and raised 5 children in the Newman, CA and Stevinson, CA area. Brenda was a member of the Lions Club. She retired from the United State Postal Service after 22 years of faithful service. 

After her retirement she moved to Kingman, AZ. She is preceded in death by her husband, William (Sonny) Berry; parents, Porter and Bonnie Mayfield; her brother, Larry Mayfield and a granddaughter. Brenda is survived by her five children, Elaina Friis-Hansen (Charlie) of Colorado, Ellen Berry (Jerry Styf) of Florida, Eileen Berry of Arizona, Aaron Berry of Arizona, April Berry of Arizona; Four grandchildren, Hannah-Marie Friis-Hansen of Colorado, Aireanna Wade (Soren ByBee) of Colorado, Amber Dvorak (Michael) of Washington and Michael Resendes of Arizona; Her Sister Judy Mayfield Bicek and many loving Nieces and Nephews. 

We love you mom and will miss you dearly. A graveside service will be held at Hills Ferry Cemetery on Monday, February 24th, 2025 at 10:00 am.
