Ronald Duain Clark, 85 of Newman, California, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at San Luis Care Center in Newman.

Dr. Clark was born in Hollywood, California and was a resident of Newman for 15 years. Prior to moving to Newman, he resided in Las Vegas, New Mexico, where he was a Chemistry Professor at New Mexico Highlands University for 31 years. He enjoyed doing research and helping students who were facing life’s adversities, raising money through grants to make it possible for them to present their work at the NASA Space Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Dr. Clark is survived by his wife, Rosalind Clark of Newman; sons, Roger Clark of Mesa, Arizona and Kenneth Clark of Tumwater, Washington; daughters, Jennifer Logue of Hollister, California and Stephanie Anderson of Columbia, South Carolina; sister, Marilyn Reeves of Ladera, California; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Lou Schuck.

A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday November 23rd at Orestimba Presbyterian Church in Newman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Orestimba Presbyterian Church to be used to help people in need.
