GUSTINE—Andrew and Danielle Quintal, owners of Wolfsen’s Meat & Sausage, were recently recognized for their continued support of the Gustine community and local law enforcement. Their generosity has ranged from contributions to community events to a significant fundraiser benefiting the family of a late volunteer.

Andrew Quintal, an avid collector of police and fire department patches, has dedicated space on the walls of his restaurant to honor first responders. He provided all the “Bangers” for Rotary’s Hops and Bangers event, further demonstrating his commitment to community involvement.

Following the passing of Gustine volunteer Abraham Guzman, Quintal organized a takeout dinner fundraiser, ensuring that all proceeds directly benefited Guzman’s family. Through additional donations, he was able to present the family with a check for $8,640.

As a gesture of gratitude, the Gustine Police Department designed and produced a Collector/Novelty patch honoring Quintal’s contributions. Police Chief Ruben Chavez and officers presented him with 200 patches on Tuesday, not intended for official use but for trading to further expand his patch collection in tribute to law enforcement.
