Newman 4-H shines at Stanislaus County Fair with top livestock and showmanship wins

Newman 4-H members had a very successful week at the Stanislaus County Fair.

In the replacement heifer show, Avery Bert placed 3rd in the Holstien division;

Avery and Trace Bert each sold animals in the replacement heifer sale. 

In the intermediate dairy showmanship class, Avery Bert placed 1st with Trace Bert

placing 8th.

 

Emily Drumonde placed 5th and 6th in the commercial doe class with her home bred

twins.

 

Olivia Casey exhibited a black American boar in the cavy show.  The boar was

awarded 1st place and was name best opposite of variety black, and best opposite of

breed American.  Casey placed 2nd in advanced cavy showmanship.

 

Julian Leon participated in the primary cavy show evaluation and showmanship classes.
