Gustine Fire Department

The Gustine Fire Department responded to 10 calls for the week of June 1 to June 6. The calls included four for Emergency Medical Services, one motor vehicle collision, two alarms and three public assists.

 

Newman Fire Department
The Newman Fire Station responded to 19 calls for service from May 29 to June 5. The calls included 11 for Emergency Medical Services, two public assists, five vegetation fire calls and one working structure fire.

On June 3, at 9:05 p.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a vegetation fire near Balsam Road and Sherman Parkway. Upon arrival, the fire crews found vegetation burning. The crews quickly extinguished the flames, and the cause remains under investigation. There were reports of minor injuries, and no damage estimates were available.

On June 4 at 12:48 p.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a mutual aid working structure fire in the 2900 block of Marshall Road, Crows Landing. Upon arrival, fire crews were tasked with extinguishing the blaze. The cause of the fire and any potential damage are under investigation. There were no reports of injuries.

On June 5, at 2:03 p.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a vegetation fire near Fink Road and Interstate 5. Upon arrival, the fire crews were assigned to assist with fire attack. The fire was at the rear of a solar farm with no immediate structure threats. There were no reported injuries or damage estimates.
