On October 18, at 8:56 p.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a vehicle collision at the Hills Ferry raceway. On arrival, the fire crews found a single occupant who had sustained minor injuries. The fire crews assisted the occupant and secured the property. The damages are unknown.
On October 21, at 12:51 a.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a mutual aid request to the City of Patterson for a working residential structure fire. On arrival, the fire crews were assigned to help extinguish the fire. Once the assignment was complete, the fire crew was released. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire are unknown. There were no reports of injuries.
On October 21, at 6:11 a.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a vehicle collision in the area of Davis Road and Interstate 5. On arrival, the fire crews found two vehicles with minor damage. The fire crews secured the property and assessed the occupants. The cause of the collision is unknown, and the damage is estimated at $10,000. There were no injuries to report.
On October 22, at 12:14 p.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a vegetation fire in the area of Orestimba Road and Interstate 5. On arrival, the fire crew found a tree stump on fire from a lightning strike. The fire crews quickly extinguished the fire. There were no damages or injuries to report.
