Newman Police Department
The Newman Police Department received 68 calls for service and reported 138 officer-initiated calls for a total of 206 incidents from Sept. 12 to Sept. 18.
The department opened 16 cases and made 10 arrests. The department issued 17 traffic citations, eight criminal citations and 13 parking citations. Two vehicles were towed.
Arrests
Eduardo Tovar Zepeda, 29, of Jurupa Valley was arrested on Sept. 14 for DUI (misdemeanor) and DUI .08 or more (misdemeanor).
Pablo Gomez, 52, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 14 for a warrant arrest out of Stanislaus County (misdemeanor).
Carlos Zarate Vega, 38, of Ceres was arrested on Sept. 14 for driving with a license suspended for DUI (misdemeanor).
Talan Hardy, 18, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 14 for minor in possession of alcohol (misdemeanor).
Dulce Martinez Camacho, 34, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 15 for driving with a license suspended for DUI (misdemeanor).
Wilder Campos, 21, of Hilmar was arrested on Sept. 16 for driving with a license suspended for DUI (misdemeanor) and a warrant arrest out of Merced County (misdemeanor).
Kurtis Belkin, 30, of Modesto was arrested on Sept. 18 for possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor).
Gustine Police Department
Burglary reported on Via Fraga in Gustine
Police responded to a reported burglary on the 1400 block of Via Fraga on Sept. 17. The call was received at 12:53 p.m. and closed at 2:09 p.m., according to the Gustine Police Department. Officers took a report at the scene. No further details were released.
Arrests
Kyle Matthew Fisher, 36, was arrested at 6:31 p.m. on Sept. 7 in the area of the 300 block of West Avenue for violating a court order related to domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Joseph Aguiar, 37, was arrested at 12:29 a.m. on Sept. 7 in the area of the 300 block of 4th Street for arson of a structure or forest land, a felony.
Guadalupe Milan Tinoco, 52, was arrested at 10:10 a.m. on Sept. 10 in the area of Highway 33 and Sullivan Road for possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
Armando Guzman Frias, 22, was arrested at 6:24 p.m. on Sept. 20 in the area of the 80 block of West Avenue for a bench warrant/failure to appear on a felony charge.
