Police calls Sept. 5 to Sept. 11

Newman Police Department

The Newman Police Department received 62 calls for service and reported 103 officer-initiated calls for a total of 165 incidents from Sept. 5 to Sept. 11.

The department opened 17 cases and made five arrests. The department issued 17 traffic citations, one criminal citation and 10 parking citations. One vehicle was towed.

 

Arrests

Brian Valverde Perez, 24, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 7 for a felony warrant out of Stanislaus County.
Austin Young, 30, of Newman was arrested on Sept. 8 for a misdemeanor warrant out of Tuolumne County.
Federico Campos, 50, of Modesto was arrested on Sept. 11 for possession of a controlled substance with priors (felony), possession of a controlled substance (felony), possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor), and soliciting a lewd act in public (misdemeanor).

 

Gustine Police Department

Vandalism was reported at 4:31 p.m. on Sept. 9 in the 600 block of 4th Avenue.

A theft was reported at 8:25 p.m. on Sept. 9 in the 600 block of Meredith Avenue.

A theft was reported at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 14 in the 500 block of 5th Street.

 

Arrests

Danny Guzman, 21, was arrested at 7:54 p.m. on Aug. 22 in the area of the 600 block of Wallis Avenue for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, cohabitant, or dating partner and assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, both felonies.
Khayala Marie Passarelli, 28, was arrested at 6:07 p.m. on Aug. 22 in the area of the 300 block of 5th Street for obstructing or resisting a public or peace officer or emergency medical technician and violating a court order related to domestic violence, both misdemeanors.

Lisa Elizabeth Beard, 34, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. on Aug. 23 in the area of 3rd Avenue and 2nd Street for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher, and driving with a license suspended for DUI.
Aldo Arreola Mora, 18, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. on Aug. 24 in the area of 5th Avenue and 7th Street for failure to appear on a felony charge.
Javier Hernandez Ruiz, 39, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on Aug. 30 in the area of 6th Street and 5th Avenue for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher, both misdemeanors.
Joseph Aguiar, 37, was arrested at 11:18 p.m. on Sept. 1 in the area of the 400 block of 4th Avenue for obstructing or resisting a public or peace officer or emergency medical technician, a misdemeanor.
Adelio Angulo Aispuro, 60, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 3 in the area of Highway 33 and Meredith Avenue for possession of unlawful paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.
James Joseph Perry Jr., 46, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. on Sept. 4 in the area of the 400 block of 6th Avenue for a bench warrant related to failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and possession of unlawful paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
Abraham Barajas Ramirez, 33, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. on Sept. 5 in the area of the 500 block of 5th Street for a bench warrant related to failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.
Joseph Aguiar, 37, was arrested at 12:29 a.m. on Sept. 7 in the area of the 300 block of 4th Street for arson of a structure or forest land, a felony.
Kyle Matthew Fisher, 36, was arrested at 6:31 p.m. on Sept. 7 in the area of the 300 block of West Avenue for violating a court order related to domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Guadalupe Milan Tinoco, 52, was arrested at 10:10 a.m. on Sept. 10 in the area of Highway 33 and Sullivan Road for possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
