Newman Police Department

The Newman Police Department received 81 calls for service and reported 42 officer-initiated calls for a total of 1223 incidents from June 27 to July 1.

There were 16 cases opened and three arrests were made. The department issued one traffic citation and seven parking citations. One vehicle as towed.

 

Arrests

Vicente Gomez, 43, of Patterson was arrested on June 29 for disobeying a court order (misdemeanor) and obstructing/resisting a peace officer (misdemeanor).

Carlos Rangel Bernal, 21, of Newman was arrested on June 30 for arson (felony).

Valentin Prado, 56, of Newman was arrested on July 1 for a warrant arrest from Stanislaus County (felony).

 

 

Gustine Police Department

Arrests

Alvino Rodriguez Jr., 23, was arrested on June 25 in the area of Highway 33 and 140 for driving on a license suspended for DUI.

Ilse Dalane Luna, 39, was arrested on June 26 in the 200 block of 2nd Street for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Priscilla Juanita Rivera, 38, was arrested on June 26 in the area of 2nd Avenue and 6th Street for a warrant.

Cesar Edu Ayala, 18, was arrested on June 28 was arrested in the area of S Street for evading a peace officer, child endangerment, and resisting arrest.

Roberto Jerry Lopez, 23, was arrested on July 1 in the 40 block of Fairview Drive for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.
