On July 21, at 12:17 a.m., the Newman Station was dispatched to a vegetation fire in the 4000 block of Stuhr Road. The fire crews arrived to find 4 acres on fire. There were no reports of injuries or damages, and the cause was undetermined.
On July 24, at 6:56 a.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a vehicle collision near Villa Manucha Road and Azevedo Road. The fire crews arrived to find a vehicle versus a tractor with an occupant who sustained minor injuries. The damages are estimated at $12,999.
On July 24, at 10:37 a.m., the Newman Station was dispatched for a smoke check near Pete Miller and Eastin Road. Upon arrival, the fire crews found a large, unattended burn pile. The fire crews diligently worked to extinguish the fire. There were no reports of injury or damage.
