At the Gustine Elementary School awards assembly on June 4, the John C. Fremont Parlor of the Native Sons of the Golden West honored student Cristina Soto for her achievement in the 4th Grade Essay Contest. Alongside Soto, teacher Mrs. De La Cruz was also presented with a check in recognition of her role in the competition.
