Gustine seeks community input to shape future of Aquatics Center

GUSTINE — As the 2025 pool season winds down, the City of Gustine is inviting residents to help shape the future of its Aquatics Center through two public surveys aimed at improving performance and planning for next year’s hours of operation.

The city launched the initiative Thursday, encouraging community members to complete either or both surveys—each entry will be entered into a drawing for a free 2026 season pass. The effort reflects Gustine’s commitment to making the pool a safe, enjoyable space for all ages.

The Aquatics Center Performance Survey asks visitors to share feedback on their experience this summer, including thoughts on recent additions like expanded night swim hours, which proved popular throughout the week. The city hopes to use this input to evaluate what worked well and identify areas for improvement.

Meanwhile, the Hours of Operation Survey is open to all residents, even those who didn’t visit the pool this year. It focuses on preferred swim times for both summer and school-year schedules, and includes questions about new offerings such as “Sunday Fundays,” which saw strong attendance.

City officials say the feedback will guide decisions for the 2026 season and beyond, ensuring the Aquatics Center continues to meet the evolving needs of the Gustine community.

“We truly value your input and look forward to making next summer even better,” the city said in a statement.
