Residents in the unincorporated community of Grayson came together on May 17, to participate in a community clean-up event. Residents were provided with the opportunity to properly dispose of trash, bulky items, and refuse that might otherwise contribute to illegal dumping and neighborhood blight.
This event marks the latest in a series of clean-ups hosted throughout Stanislaus County's District 5. Supervisor Channce A. Condit has remained committed to ensuring that every unincorporated community in the district receives this vital service.
“I want to sincerely thank the Grayson community, the West Stanislaus County Fire Protection District, and the Grayson Community Services District who made this event a success,” said Supervisor Condit. “Thanks to our collective efforts, we were able to fill eight dumpsters with waste that might otherwise have ended up along roadsides or empty lots. This kind of turnout shows the pride our residents take in keeping their neighborhoods clean and safe.”
This recent clean-up was the 23rd such event held in District 5 since the launch of the initiative, reflecting a continued investment in supporting cleaner, healthier communities throughout the region.
