County fair 2022

TURLOCK — The countdown is on for the 114th Stanislaus County Fair, set to open Friday, July 11, and run through Sunday, July 20, at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock. With more than 250,000 visitors expected, the 10-day event promises a blend of tradition, entertainment, and community spirit.

Established in 1911, the fair has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated summer events, featuring agricultural exhibits, carnival rides, concerts, rodeos, motorcross, horse shows, and a wide array of food vendors and family-friendly attractions.

This year’s fair offers a variety of discounts and themed days to make the experience more accessible:

  • $5 Before 5: Weekday admission is just $5 from 4–5 p.m.
  • Service Members Day (July 11): Free admission for military personnel with ID.
  • Senior Day (July 12): Seniors 65+ receive free admission and a complimentary Ferris wheel ride.
  • Free ‘til 3 p.m. Sundays (July 13 & 20): All guests enter free from noon to 3 p.m., sponsored by Sutter Health.
  • Kids Day (July 15): Children 12 and under get in free, courtesy of YupUp!
  • Christmas in July (July 16): Donate a new toy to the Salvation Army and receive two ride tickets from Butler Amusements.

Guests can also enjoy Fair Bites, a daily promotion offering $5 snack-sized portions from 4–6 p.m. at participating vendors.

Advance tickets, unlimited ride wristbands, and season passes are available online at stancofair.com and at select FoodMaxx and Save Mart stores through July 20. Wristbands are available until July 10. Parking discounts are offered through the YupUp app with qualifying ticket purchases.
