Adan Ramirez, age 85; passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, in Newman CA, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born on December 25, 1939, in Guerrero, Mexico, Adan was born into a family of 11 children. He married the love of his life, Carmen Ramirez, on August 23, 1959. Adan and Carmen shared 57 beautiful years together before her passing. They had four children together. Sylvia Ramirez-Encinas of Gustine, Maria Teresa (Terry) Ramirez-Bishop of Mariposa, Adam Ruben (deceased) and Javier (deceased).

Family, extended family and friends will miss the wonderful gatherings hosted by Adan and Carmen in their humble home, with beautiful pictures taken in Carmen’s garden.

Adan is survived by his family, Sylvia (Tony) and Terry (Jim). Adan also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters, Ofelia and Helena and brothers Eloy and Tony.

Adan was preceded in death by his parents, Ernestina and Antonino; his beloved wife, Carmen; sons, Adam Ruben and Javier; brother, Jose and sisters, Maria Teresa and Alicia.

A visitation will be held at 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 1258 R. St., Newman. Interment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery.
