Amparo Garcia Nevarez passed away peacefully on October 28th, after a long illness.
She was born on August 19, 1936, in Mexico. In 1959 Amparo followed her husband to Central California where she became a United States citizen and has resided ever since.
She is survived by her sons Andres (Toni), Jose, Armando (Jennifer), Enrique (Dee), daughter Martha (Jerry) Crawford, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Family was the most important thing in Amparo’s life. She loved spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren. Amparo was an extremely hard worker.
She often worked several jobs at one time, such as canneries and agriculturally related jobs.
Amparo’s Faith in Christ was very important to her. She never wavered in her strong beliefs.
A private ceremony will be held for immediate family. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
