Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Machado, age 68, of Gustine, California, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 24th, 2025.

Cindy was born in Turlock, California, to Maxine Weaver, Machado, Burroughs, and John R Machado Sr. on September 5th, 1956, then brought home to Gustine, California, where she lived until her passing.

She was a devoted Registered Nurse for 36+ years and was still currently working at Ridge Rehabilitation

Center in Salinas, California. She enjoyed visiting the beach on any occasion as well as spending her free time gardening. She was a lover of all animals and never dared to turn away a stray throughout her life. She made that true with the many dogs she had cared for throughout her 68 years of life.

She was married once/divorced, but with that gave her three daughters who she cherished. She is survived by daughters, Shanna

L. Cook (Ryan) of Star, Idaho, Roxanne R. Tomas (Joe) of Eagle, Idaho, and Jamie M. Croffoot (Steve) of Newman, California; four grandchildren, Isabella B. Tomas, Jousha T. Croffoot, Shiloh

E. Croffoot, and Nixxon J. Cook; brother, John R. Machado Jr. of Gustine, California; sister, Carolyn Macedo (Joe) of Hilmar, California; adopted siblings, David Weaver of Modesto, California and Kristina Burroughs of Merced, California, also nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Maxine Weaver, Machado, Burroughs, and John R Machado Sr.; brother Robert Machado and his son John Machado.

A celebration of Love and Life will be held on Friday, June 13th, 2025, from 11:30am-3pm at Our Lady of Miracles PC1 Hall in Gustine, California, located behind the Catholic school. You should enter from Laurel Ave. Please look for the blue ballon arrangement at the entrance of the parking lot.

All that cared for Cindy are welcome and we ask you to bring any photos or a story you have of her to share would be greatly appreciated. There will be a book to add to at the celebration. Food and beverages will be provided by the family. In honor of Cindy, we ask that you wear a shade of blue, her favorite color.
